你对学生有哪些期望？ My primary goals for my students are to foster a deep understanding of the subjects, build their confidence in applying knowledge to real-world situations, and ignite a lifelong passion for learning. I aim to equip them with critical thinking skills, encourage curiosity, and help them achieve academic success while making the learning process enjoyable and engaging. Ultimately, I want my students to feel empowered, capable, and excited about their educational journey.

成为一名好老师需要什么条件？ Being a good teacher also means being a student! I am also a language learner, so I understand how it can be difficult. However, within every failure is opportunity!

你为什么决定从事教学工作？ I decided to teach because I believe that education goes beyond just delivering knowledge—it’s about guiding, supporting, and inspiring students to reach their full potential. Throughout my experience, I’ve seen that every learner faces unique challenges, and having a teacher who also acts as a mentor and motivator can make a huge difference. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel confident, empowered, and capable of achieving their goals.

你为什么决定从事教学工作？ I actually became a teacher so that I could move abroad and improve my own language skills, and at the time becoming a teacher was the easiest way. Therefore I did my teaching qualification, and the rest is history. I found that I enjoyed it immensely, and have been now teaching for almost 11 years, in 3 different countries. There are a number of reasons why I love teaching. The reasons revolve almost entirely around the people you get to meet, from the colleagues to the students. The opportunity to meet so many different people, and to help them and watch them improve is incredibly satisfying.

成为一名好老师需要什么条件？ A good teacher fosters a sense of trust, involvement, and motivation. They adjust to individual needs, are creative in methods of teaching, and stimulate critical thinking. Patience, empathy, and good communication make students feel supported and encouraged to reach the best possible standards.

你为什么决定从事教学工作？  I decided to teach because I believe in the transformative power of education. It allows me to play a role in shaping the minds and futures of young individuals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to succeed. Teaching gives me the opportunity to foster curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving in students, which are essential for personal and academic growth. 

你对学生有哪些期望？ I have many goals for my  students. I would like them  to be more accllaimated to life in the United States. Second, I would like them to be more accepting of learning English instead of being dependent on their first language. Third, I want them to know that I will be there to support, guide and push them as much as I am able. 

你认为学生怎样才能学得最好？ Students learn best when they are actively engaged in the material, with a focus on understanding core concepts rather than memorizing facts. A mix of visual, auditory, and practical learning methods, alongside consistent practice and feedback, helps reinforce their knowledge. Encouraging curiosity and critical thinking also helps students retain information more effectively and apply it in real-world scenarios. 

你认为学生怎样才能学得最好？ I use child psychology to teach English. I teach English in a relaxed way to allow the brain to take in new information easily. I do not force students to learn, but sometimes I get serious about the subject matter.

你为什么决定从事教学工作？ I believe in making students comfortable with learning materials even if they don't feel confident about it. Every student has his/her own strength and with some practice and patience, students will understand what they are being taught

你为什么决定从事教学工作？ With over 15 years of experience in education, including nine years of teaching online, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping students connect with the English language in a meaningful way. I am dedicated to creating engaging, interactive lessons that not only enhance their language skills but also inspire a love for learning. My goal is to provide students with the tools they need to confidently use English in real-world situations, making each lesson an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

你认为某些学科比其他学科更重要吗？为什么？ 1. **Why did you decide to teach?**    I decided to teach because I have a passion for language and communication. Teaching allows me to share this passion with others and help students unlock their potential in English. I find great fulfillment in guiding learners on their journey to fluency, and I enjoy the personal connections that come with being an educator. 2. **How do you think students learn best?**    I believe students learn best through a combination of interactive and immersive experiences. Engaging them in meaningful conversations, real-life scenarios, and activities that cater to different learning styles—such as visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—makes the learning process more effective and enjoyable. Additionally, providing timely feedback and encouragement helps to motivate students and reinforces their learning. 3. **How do you define learning?**    Learning is a process of acquiring knowledge, skills, attitudes, or competencies through experience, study, or instruction. It involves not only memorizing information but also understanding it, applying it, and being able to think critically about it. Learning is ongoing and evolves as individuals encounter new situations and build on previous knowledge. 4. **How do you define teaching?**    Teaching is the act of facilitating learning by guiding, inspiring, and motivating individuals to explore and grasp new concepts. It involves more than just delivering content; it requires creating an environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and express themselves. Effective teaching adapts to the needs of learners and encourages them to reach their full potential. 5. **Do you believe all students can learn? Why or why not?**    Yes, I believe all students can learn, though the pace and manner in which they learn may differ. Each student has unique strengths, backgrounds, and motivations, which can influence their learning journey. As educators, it is our responsibility to recognize and accommodate these differences, providing tailored support and resources that empower every student to succeed. 6. **What does it take to be a good teacher?**    A good teacher possesses a combination of knowledge, empathy, and adaptability. Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine interest in student progress are crucial. Being responsive to student needs and continuously seeking to improve one’s teaching methods through reflection and professional development also play vital roles in being effective. Moreover, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment is essential for students to thrive. 7. **What goals do you have for your students?**    My primary goals for my students are to develop their language proficiency and enhance their confidence in using English. I aim for them to not only acquire vocabulary and grammar skills but also to be able to communicate effectively in diverse contexts. Additionally, I encourage them to engage with the culture and nuances of the language, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of English-speaking communities. 8. **Do you think some subjects are more important than others? Why or why not?**    I believe that all subjects have their own importance and relevance; however, the significance can vary depending on an individual’s goals and aspirations. Language, for example, is foundational in many areas of life, as it plays a crucial role in communication and connection. Ultimately, it is essential to recognize that knowledge is interconnected, and different subjects can provide varied perspectives and skills that contribute to a well-rounded education.

你对学生有哪些期望？ As an educator, my goal is to help my students achieve academic excellence by mastering subject knowledge and developing critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I strive to build their confidence, enhance their communication and interpersonal abilities, and ignite a love for lifelong learning. My focus is on equipping them to apply what they’ve learned to real-world situations while fostering global awareness and an appreciation for cultural diversity. I’m committed to supporting their emotional growth by promoting empathy, resilience, and respect for others. Finally, I aim to prepare them for future success by teaching career-readiness skills and guiding them to become adaptable, responsible, and empowered individuals who can make a positive impact in the world.

你如何定义学习？ Learning is simply the acquisition of knowledge.

你为什么决定从事教学工作？ I decided to teach because I want to engage more. I was given an opportunity to teach and that allowed me to let go and be myself. I also enjoy the cultural exchanges as I teach. I could not have been happier.

你为什么决定从事教学工作？  I decided to teach because it gives me the opportunity to do something I have always loved—impacting people's lives by helping them improve their English language proficiency. Teaching allows me to use my energetic people skills to keep classes engaging and my adaptive teaching methods to meet the specific learning needs of every student. With over 7 years of experience teaching English as a foreign language to both adults and children, I’ve developed the skills to be an effective and efficient online tutor. Additionally, I appreciate the advantage of working from home while helping people from different parts of the world improve their English. 

你相信所有学生都能学习吗？为什么？ I know that all students can learn based upon their actual learning method. For me personally, it is about identifying my student's best approach to learning, whether that be auditory, visual, kinesthetic or a combination thereof.

Teaching allows me to make a positive impact on students’ lives by empowering them with the skills and confidence they need to succeed. I enjoy the process of breaking down complex ideas, seeing students progress, and celebrating their achievements. It’s incredibly rewarding to know that I can contribute to their growth and inspire a lifelong love for learning.
